Greetings.

I got an offer letter from McGill University in Electrical Engineering and Software Engineering (co-op) and U of Alberta. Again, I got offer letters from UNSW, Monash Australia, and the University of Sydney, too, for a bachelor of engineering! . As I am planning to do electrical engineering, which university will be really good for better career opportunities in the future? I will be moving to the USA after completing my undergrad in Australia or Canada for my Masters and career too! If I go to the top Australian university, which one is really good for electrical engineering?

And most importantly McGill doesn't offer co-ops either! I was planning to choose it just because it has a good reputation in the states.

Hey!

I was focused on getting into a govt medical college in Bangladesh so I had no intention of studying abroad. However, recently I decided to go study in the US in condition with my parents that I’ll live with a relative staying there. As you all know it’s already very late for fall2024 and many colleges are not taking applications anymore.

I went to an agency and they said they can get me into a uni in that specific state( they are affiliated and yes the uni is still taking applications)in this fall(2024).

•My concern is do you think it’s risky for me cause I am late( as many unis mention in their website the preferable time for scholarship)?

My profile:

- 5 in both ssc,hsc

- moderate ECA(club,skills,awards)

- didn’t take SAT

•What are my chances of getting a good scholarship and how much it can be?

•And does it lessen my chances to get a full ride if I apply through agency?

I’m really all over the place cause I still haven’t taken my IELTS, I need that ASAP to apply and because of Ramadan I can’t gather some important papers from my school before Eid.

I’m sorry for the long post but help a girl out🥺

I am a student of HSC23 from Bangla medium. I want to pursue CS as a major. but my 12th grade result (HSC) isn’t satisfactory. though my result was superior in class 10. Let me explain my result in short.

I stated before that I would pursue CS as a major. So, I will share my stem subject results.

HSC'23-

Physics: 78.5%

Chemistry: 77.5%

bio- 77%

h.math- 58.5%

GPA-4.33/5.00

I won't share my SSC result due to its controversial result in the history of Bangladesh . I took my exam in 2021, and you had better know what happened for the 2021 batch. but I have secured a GPA-5 and got 95% AVG on stem subjects.  And I was sick at my HSC exam.

I am planning to take the SAT exam and also plan to retake it again for the HSC. doesn't it sound good to retake HSC again? Canada and Australia's top universities only give direct entry of BSc for GPA-5 holders. (If I consider group of 8 or ualberta.) What should I do? I am planning to go to Canada or Australia because if I have missed a chance in the USA or my unis deficit isn't satisfactory for me.

Btw, I have a significant amount of eca in my treasure. but its only quantity. I won many olympiads and secured my regional round. that's it.

What should I do about this profile? Should i retake?
