I was simply staring at VO while she interviewed two others in front of me.
Me: Good Morning (overwhelming laugh)
**To be honest, I have no idea. I'm going to laugh to the point that I just give myself over to nature.
VO: Heyy! How doing? Please give me your Passport & I-20.
Me: I am great! Here it is…
VO: So why are you going to the USA?
Me: Well, I am going to the USA to study at the University of Colorado Denver as a full-time undergraduate student with a Cybersecurity major.
VO: Who is going to cover your expenses?
Me: My dad is going to cover my expenses. He is involved in the clothing business. He purchases clothes from garments manufacturer and then sells them in the wholesale market. Sometimes he also does some contract business with buyers.
(At this point, I notice there is one lady collecting all the passports in a box and the VO simply placing my passport on the top of passport hill) I stopped for a moment then continued…
He earns around X amount USD per year and also has savings of around Y USD. So, he can pay for my education.
VO: Congratulation! Your Visa is approved. Please collect your passport within 2 weeks.
Me: Thank you so much!
VO: Have a great day!
You know, some people believe that getting a VISA is purely a matter of luck, but I personally disagree with that. The interview is the chance to get issued your visa. Instead of relying solely on luck, why not take proactive steps to prepare for it? Of course, seeking blessings from God and family is important, but being well-prepared is just as essential.
When you stand in front of the Visa Officer, you'll realize the significance of the situation, regardless of the outcome. So, my friendly suggestion is not to waste any time and treat this as a high-stakes moment. Don't leave anything to chance. Make the most of the time you have before the interview to prepare.
To all the future applicants out there, I wish you the best of luck and success in your endeavours! Ciao!
