Liberal Arts College students

Hey there to all my fellow Liberal Arts College students or alumni,

I've been pondering about life after graduating from a Liberal Arts College, especially for international students like us. Have you ever wondered what happens next? Do most of us rush into grad school or pursue a Ph.D., or do we dive straight into industry or career-related fields?

I'm particularly curious about those who've got full-ride scholarships or similar financial aid. It's a reality that luck doesn't always favor us, and sometimes staying in the US post-graduation isn't possible. So, what's the plan-B then? Do we head back to our home country, or consider moving to places like Canada, Australia, or Europe?

I've stumbled upon stories of LAC graduates struggling with job hunts, further education, or even just settling down in the US after completing their bachelor's. What are your thoughts on this, especially if you're from a top-tier LAC?

And let's talk about social science subjects, like economics, for instance. How does the scenario look for graduates in these fields?

Can you please share your experiences and insights to help us navigate through these uncertainties!
